interesting , i seem to of gotten same thing :/ , been fine all day and only when i come home from work go on pc everything i do on chrome it whinges that either malware of trojan :/ ran antivirus and malware atm its damn annoying!

wtf? the idea of an anti-virus is to keep them out, not just remove them once they've infected your PC.
How do you know the keylogger/trojan/whatever hasn't already done it's job before you somehow realise your PC is infected and remove it?
This. In the last couple of weeks we have had 3 computers at work infected and I know 3 friends as well who got it on their home computer.
All of them with up to date virus checkers (different ones - we use AVG commercial at work) and firewalls. When I asked our IT department about it and how it had managed to get in he told me that a whole group of adverts of some major sites had been infected by the virus and just by visiting that site the virus could bepass your AV program and you get affected. He also said that the sites affected had pulled their adverts and were busy cleaning up the infection to stop any more people get affected. I guess some lesser sites still haven't cleaned up their affected adverts yet.
Malwarebytes got rid of it. Not sure how much I got told by the IT department was true as never bothered googling it but makes sense?
Avast released a virus definition file in that contained false-positives.

You need to download the new definition file (there's also a program update you might not have).
I had the same and luckily selected the "Move to Chest" option for the "infected" files, but looking at the blog some people deleted them

And that's why not to use AV ^
False positives sure are a pain but real positives missed by the lack of a av on your system are worse by a country mile so stop trolling.

Is this the Windows Total Security Center virus or something like that?
Had it the other day, crippled me. Ran safe mode, Malwarebytes, got rid of it... or so I thought, as in temp/local the virus held a file that affected my browsing called bok.exe
After a couple of days, randomly Avast found it and boom all is well.

I think you're more guilty of trolling that tntcoder is; I wouldn't say he's trolling at all, but I think the act of falsely accusing somebody of trolling is trolling in itself.
The point is valid. Not everyone needs AV software, especially if using Linux.
