what i am wondering is what is the differnts between a Pentium D 945 3.4Ghz and a Intel Core Duo T2300 Processor - 1.66Ghz and which is better, i now i sound like such a newbi
 
Well the Pentium D 945 is a desktop cpu, and the Intel Core Duo T2300 is a laptop cpu. The E6xxx Core 2 Duos are for desktops.
