HD5770 for gaming, if you're ok with around £120 - nothing beats it around that price :)
Not sure about mobo, I do remember something but cant recall it atm /: Sorry

UD7 has a different cooling solution, and has a 24 Phase power section which is meant to give you more stable overclocks, though I'm not to sure whether this is the case or not..

It also has onboard power/reset switches to, apart from this I don't think there's much else different between them tbh.

They will both perform about the same I would have thought.

I personally don't think the UD7 is worth the extra ££ tbh.

I currently have the older EX58 UD5's here and they are excellent boards, I really can't fault mine at all.

As for graphics cards, the new ATi 5*** series are all the rage atm, the 5850 seems to be the best bang for buck, and it can be clocked to beyond the 5870 frequencies as well.

nVidia don't really have much to offer just now as far as new cards go, though they will be releasing the GF100 based cards in a couple of months hopefully, so it might be worth holding off buying just now until these cards get released, hopefully the current ATi cards will drop in price soon as well.

Ok, sorry. I meant a HD4870 xD HD5770 is DX11, BUT its out performed by quite a margin by the 4870, and if you can stretch to a HD4890, Id go for that ;)
