The greenos really grate me regarding GM food. If GM food can be proved risk free and has nutritonal advantages over normal crops. There should be no reason whatsoever why they refuse to accept it as part of a solution.

This! While the technology behind GM foods is fine the political and business aspects still leave a lot to be desired.
