All my youtube channels have gone, all my most visited websites have gone.

Is anyone else having the same problem?

Its like someone has reset the internet on me.

Its all reset even this website does not come up unless I type it in manually, it always came up.

Youtube all my favourite channels have gone.

Its since the privacy reminder from Google popped up.

Time to go digging again.

Are you using Chrome? I had a similar issue when Chrome decided to reset my profile it's the little button top right.

Do you use the sync feature and do you have the same browser on another computer that you can try out?

Personally, I prefer using a portable browser and have 1 or 2 backups of it at any given time. A 'portable' app means that it doesn't have an installer. Instead you download it as a ZIP, then unzip it and it will run from any drive letter. Get your settings and bookmarks to how you like it, then re-ZIP it to create backups of it.

Yes I am logged on to everything.

It has even reset my Gmail account and that was accessible with one click, now its not.

My cache is all the same, I have done nothing Google are playing silly buggers.

Are you sure you're logged in to the correct youtube account?

I had a google account, and a youtube account. When google bought youtube I then had 2 accounts that could login to youtube.

Sometimes it logs me in with my google account which I have no subscriptions.

You mentioned a privacy message from Google. Did you read it and choose to opt in to Google gathering and using all the data about you it can get in any way it wants? If not, that might explain what has happened.

I use bookmarks because I can control them. I would use browser history to log my most visited websites if I cared about that. People who rely on data gathering companies providing the same functionality don't have any such control, as you have found out.

I use bookmarks my list is huge, it was just easy to type 2 or 3 letters to find where you want to go.

Its all over youtube they have changed the algorithms for searching and promotion.
