What the hell is going on with COD4 online PS3??

Over the last week or so I have been unable to get a decent run of games on COD4 multiplayer ps3. I'm having to wait ages to even get in a game, and then more often than not I get "host ended game" or connection issues.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I think it was that sodding double points weekend that screwd everything up, didn't have any troubles before then.

seemed ok for me,ranked up from 31 to 40 over the weekend

ok here, had a few quit on host, but back in on another in a few mins, rank 31 to 53 at the weekend

with my broken TV issues I didn;t get to play so am a lowly level 5.

good three games tonight. As mentioned online, my issues connecting must be that I only have access to a very low number of game types as I am new.

One of the reasons I dislike games that use matchmaking, but I shouldn't complain, played 3 games went up 2 levels.
