ok. running c2d 6600 stock, 8800gts(stock now but previously overclocked to 620/1150), 2gb geil pc6400 and evga 680i mobo. everythings been fine since i put this together roughly a month ago, ha dabsolutely no problems since and performance and temps have been pleasing. about an hour ago, after reading of new 8800 drivers release, i uninstalled current drivers and restarted in prep for new drivers. on boot, absolutely nothing happened, no bios, no beep, 2 dashes on the mobo digital display and completely blank screen. all the fans were working and all the display leds were on on the mobo.
i have absolutely no odea what happened, opened it up and as expected everything was ok on inspection as i had only just been using it minutes earlierfiddled around with it for around another hour and still nothing. then, just as putting side back on to put it away(as looking at it was depressing) i gave it one last go and it booted up fine. its really worried me though, as something has to be wrong. surely its going to happen again. i suspect it must be the mobo as there was no beep and nothing on the onboard display. what you guys think. any advice would be well recieved
