just tried using this to find max clocks, got 4hmz in and i got massive screen corruption, we had sparklys, snow, yellow blocks, the works... nearly crapped myself :(

reboot and its fine now so it must have been ATI tool that caused it... any clues? was looking forward to finding my max clocks too :(

Give it up locutus buddy. I have the same problem. I actually usually get reboots after 5mhz above stock, though CCC seems to have no problems clocking to 690/800 (and yes, I set GPU to 1.4v, so it's not that). Just use CCC for now and wait until we actually have a utility to clock X1800/X1900's properly. Don't bother trying, it is a bit in vain.

so i should quit crapping my pants that i may have just killed my card in some way and blame it all on ati tool ? you got exactly the same thing too yes? cube exploding all yellow and streaky, dots everywhere...

i dont know but im swetting here incase ive caused some damage i dont know about :( ordinarily i would run ati tool to make sure the card was ok lol...

Well almost, I had the ball go fuzzy (dots), then my monitor cuts out and doesn't return until a restart, so just as bad. Don't worry, these things are hard to kill.

@ miller - I couldn't figure out how to get Tray Tools to clock mine. I d/l'ed it last week but it completely got the clocks wrong of the card so I thought best to leave it in case it sets the wrong clocks.
