Am trying to figure out if its possible to power 2 x 4k monitors from a single gpu if so what would you recommend.

If I remember rightly when I had the dell superwide it had a dp out so am assuming one or more of the 4k offerings must have the same.

Can it be done peeps, any thoughts or input much appreciated :)

Pick A monitor with Display port and one with HDMI then connect both to graphics card, you will get one display at 60Hz and one at 30Hz not good for gaming but 2x4k isn't exactly feasible for gaming anyway with the horsepower available.

This should work, unless someone else can think of a reason why it wont?

As for Display port pass through, I'm really don't know.

Thanks for that bru much appreciated.

So use dp on one for the 60hz and game on that one and hdmi for t'other and desktop stuff on that ..... would the gpu not throw a hissy fit when switching to gaming with one at 60hz the other at 30? Not sure hmmmm Cheers :)

As far as I know connecting different monitors with different refresh rates hasn't been a problem for a good long while, I cannot see any reason why this wouldn't work.
