What the MAX stable FSB your motherboard can do ??

People say lower multi puts for stress on your CPU due to higher FSB, so they say higher multi.

Personally though my CPU is a ****** and i wanna stress it out for giving me a high VID. What i found strange though was a lower multi requires a lot less vcore for me to be stable. boffins, over to you..

thats weird, mines the same, unable to be stable with a multi of 9 but stable with 8 and CPU volt of 1.27

Actually, think i'll use your settings tonight, 400FSB overall would probably get me equal performance to 375x9, as it maximises my RAM and would create a lot less heat for me due to lower vcore.

Shame my RAM won't go above 830mhz (crap), that limits my FSB to 415mhz. If i got faster RAM, bet i could really get high clocks using a high FSB abnd lower multi.

425Mhz fsb (1700Mhz)
Cant get any higher without gfx card stopping the pc booting, and I dont know what voltage to 'tweek' to get past this.
Annoying as I know CPU will do 3.6Ghz at 400fsb and a x9 multi!

I've had my P965-DS3P up to 450 but never primed it to see if was stable, primed it at around 425 but have it running at the mo at 400.

My 965 used to 495 if wanted was a DS4,
still testing my X38, will do 530 at the moment.
Dont think my 6400 will do much more though.
