I have bought THIS memory off OcUK, and am having some serious stability problem with it, but im only putting 1.8v through it ATM, so does this indicate that im fine to put 2.2v through it if I so wish? Ive upped it to 2v but dont wan tot go higher until I know im safe to.

No OCing at all, all is stock. Rig is in sig.

Cheers

Brilliant. Tried it on Crysis at 2v and it seems fine, but ill put it to the 2.1v it says then with any luck no more stability problems.

Cheers guys for the extremely snappy replys, much appreciated.

I bought some of this to go with my upgrade to Q6600 from an S939 X2 3800+ - so it was the first DDR2 ram I'd ever used.

And unfortunately, my system wouldn't even post with it in - no error bleeps or anything, It works fine when I stick one of my mate's corsair modules in with it, but it was a pain to get that off him and it means I can't run in dual channel either.

I tried just putting the ram in his motherboard, but that wouldn't post either, but fine with one of each in.

currently I've got one of each and so does he, but he's got 2x512 so we're both running 1.5GB in single channel.

Now I'm going to take a stab in the dark and guess it doesn't work on its own because it needs more volts. But how are you supposed to up the ram voltage if the system won't post and that's the only ram you've got??

Would it be possible to return and get my money back since I couldn't actually get the Ram to post under the default settings? Made my upgrade a total nightmare :(

P.S. my motherboard: Asus P5K Premium/Wifi his: MSI K9N of some sort.

Don't go above 2.3v.
