What thermal paste?

I've decided to go with the Zalman cpu cooler, as it seems to be fairly cheap, but it does have some good reviews.
I hadn't really thought until now about thermal paste. How much difference can there be in the different compounds? and which is preferable

Yeah- it's really a toss up between that and the IC diamond-

Looks like the mx-4 then. Hmm- that cooler is out of stock, back to looking for one. lol

Edit: Took this one instead. Order is through. just have to play the waiting game.

I got the mx-4. I'm imaging I need to use a pea sized amount on my I5 ?

I got my brother a new cooler too, since the noise of his machine has been bugging me
