What things will need updated drivers?

Just wondering, what things need updated drivers?
All i can think of is GFX card, Motherboard, Soundcard.

Do CPU's, and stuff like Printers need em aswell?

from vista open cmd

type "bcdedit /set nointegritychecks on" and
"bcdedit /set oslnointegritychecks on"

to disable driver signing check on every boot.

I did this and then installed all my software i previously had on my xp rig, and it all works a charm so far.

Saying that, i will change to 'proper' vista drivers, but everything works perfectly.

(but generally, yes those are the main drivers i would worry about)

Cpu's no. Printers, possibly. You could always right click\properties\compatibility and select your desired os.

Some Mice and keyboards , and scanners, but easy to obtain .
