Not the two m6 screw fixings. It's the single large underside bolt I'm trying to find the thread size for. M12 or M14 i've been told but I'm not sure which , if either , is correct.
Anyone know for sure, please?
Thank you.

Yes, the large single bolt. Not the two m6 bolts that sit side by side.
I have a shifter which is missing that bolt.

No vernier caliper. Could get one , I suppose. But for single use, Is it worth it? Would it measure the female thread size? Thought maybe forum users might know the thread size.
Yeah, I could buy both but might find they are both wrong. :)

This one https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4074160 ? If so just grab the stl and import into windows 3D builder and use the ruler tool.
Looks like the right doodah thingy but I don't have a 3D printer. Thank tou.
I have an old G25 - the shifter has a plastic 'bolt' that looks similar, just measured it with a ruler - 16mm diameter so could say M16 - 6mm pitch for the threads tho so any standard coarse or fine bolt wil be no use! the threads don't go to a point like a normal bolt either...
Thank you for going to that trouble.
Non standard then. Nice to know I won't be wasting my time on getting the M12/M14 doofers.
Much appreciated.
Thank you.

Actually I also have the shifter. Tomorrow I’ll be able to measure it :D
Thank you Feek. I suspect you will confirm builder22s' findings that it is proprietary. Also Chris Wilsons suggestion. It'd be nice to have that confirmed though. Much appreciated.

P.s. Cant believe a simple question like this would have extended to so many posts. Who'da thunk it?

Thank you folks.
