Hi, Im new to all this but want to buy my first gaming PC, some people are even telling me to build one :S,

i dont care what it is but i have a budget of around £1200 just for the pc. Any suggestions on what to buy? AMD/intel i dont care. as long as it plays well and i dont need to change anything for a while.

please post some suggestions or some builds on what i should buy

Hi welcome

Building your own pc would save you a bit of money over a pre-built. If you don't feel comfortable though you can ask ocuk to build one from a list of parts.

The spec below is a rough idea for your budget. There is some money left over for Windows and also the build fee.

Hey,

What are you looking to play on PC and does the £1200 budget need to include a monitor and peripherals?

There is no reason you wouldn’t be able to try and build your own, for the most part “modern” PC’s are very much just plug-and-play although if you are not comfortable in tackling the potential issues that can arise while building then you might be better served with a pre-built system.
