What to buy to extend a BT Home Hub?

As the title says I am looking to extend the range of my first generation BT Home Hub. Aiming to extend the range by roughly 30m to a property over the road from my main house and just wondering which is the best range extender for this job.

Wired or wireless?

First thing I would do is demand a HH3 from BT for free.

Would prefer a wireless connection but any connection is better than nothing. Haha.
