been torn between choices as the £90-£130 mid range is so hard.

Max Budget=£135

I was thinking of HD 7870 AMD OEM but ive heard the stock cooler is terrible at noise and OC, i can get it for £120 i wont be Oc'ing yet, probz in a year.

HD 7850 cheaper but apprently wicked OCer, so if cheaper and decent cooler better than Nv 660 Ti, 650, 650ti and 650 Ti Boost
But ive been told V-Sync is better.

Yea but with his CPU, even a 7770/6850 level card will get bottlenecked in lots of games, so there's not much point spending more getting higher cards...unless OP is soon upgrading his CPU.

very true :) although on the other hand if he is ever going to upgrade the rest of his rig to avoid the inevitable bottleneck with any modern GPU I would rather be pairing the new parts with a 660 than either of those. Just what I would do though. Its a tough situation.

I wouldn't bother with crossfire 7770 - it's only 128bit memory, etc. If you can afford it and intend to upgrade, the 7850 or 7870 is a good choice.

You can put an FX-6300 in your current motherboard. An 8320 would struggle.

Get the 7770, you won't be disappointed. It's really good value

I use one atm and can play any game at 1920x1080 without any lag at all as long as a couple of settings are lowered. I've had much more powerful gpu's such as the 670 but decided to use the 7770 over it as it uses nearly 100w less and suits my needs just fine.

Another good thing about cheap gpu's is they hold their value very well. Even in another year or so if you sell the 7770 you will only loose about 20 pounds.

Btw.. that case is b grade but costs more than a new one, maybe look for another? :)

lol, i can get that case cheaper, then agian CustomPC' Mags review was negative ish, ok this thread is going off topic, soo 7770 it is i can get a OC'ed one for £75
