What to consider when giving up personal Android phone for dual-SIM work iPhone?

As my Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite is on it's last legs I am forever frustrated by the size of current Android phones. And more importantly, I just can't be bothered carrying around two phones any more. I am expected to answer calls out of hours if necessary so for example if I'm out and about at the weekend or in the evening I would be juggling two phones which is tedious.

I can upgrade my current work iPhone 8 :)p) to an iPhone 13 which is actually smaller than my Xiaomi. It seems the last few iterations of iOS have come along nicely and there's not much I'd miss from being a previous Android user. However, I am heavily invested in Google's ecosystem... I have a personal Google apps domain/email, Google Homes throughout the house, regularly use all Google apps like Keep, Photos, Drive, Docs etc., and I also have Xiaomi smart lights (controlled by Xiaomi Home and Google Home), I wear a Xiaomi Mi band too.

The only thing I'm finding that might not work well with an iPhone is Google Assistant on the phone itself, which I rarely use anyway.

So, I'm sure this has been asked a million times but is there anything I should be particularly mindful of before taking the plunge?

EDIT: Sorry should clarify, work only provide iPhones because of "security" :rolleyes:

Actually thats a good point. Can you use Whatsapp with both numbers on a dual SIM phone? I mean, separately?
 
Oh that's alright. To be honest WhatsApp either way isn't a deal-breaker. I hardly use it for work, only when travelling occasionally.
