What to do first?

Sorry for yet another question from me, hopefully they'll stop soon!

I've just redone my watercooling setup for the 3rd time.
Only this time I've changed:-
Radiators: from XSPC RS240 + EK 240 --> a Black Ice SR-1 360 + EK 120.
Case: CM 690 II --> CM HAF 932
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H --> Asus M5A99X EVO
Graphics: AMD 4870x2 (Watercooled) --> Asus GTX 480 (Watercooled)

and a fan controller and PSU.

Now my HDD already has Windows7 installed (hopefully with drivers removed). Now I'm wondering if I should first off go into the BIOS and tweak things in there (wouldn't overclock just yet) and check CPU temps or should I boot straight into Windows leaving the BIOS as default and checking my CPU and GPU temps?

This all assumes of course that I've not broken something while putting it all together (last time I broke my 5870!)

Thanks.
