[..] But the issues i don't now know how to over-come is people iv met over the past 2 months iv now completely forgotten and have absolutely no clue of who they are but they know me and about me. Telling someone you don't remember them is horrible and i don't want to insult folks i don't even know. How to approach job interviews and being asked what iv been doing? as i truly don't know.
Tell them the truth. Almost everyone is aware of the concept of amnesia and knows that it's a real thing. They'll probably assume you were hit in the head by something because that's what most people associate with amnesia, but they should understand the relevant fact, i.e. that you have amnesia. If they don't, they're either ignorant or rude and they're the problem.
If you say "You are so unimportant to me that I haven't bothered to remember you", that's an insult.
If you say "I've had complete amnesia as a result of a medical problem and don't remember anything that happened during a two month period", that's not an insult.
Wanted to know if anyone's suffered amnesia or quite bad memory loss before and how they coped also?
Wanted to post here as usual GD responses will be good but may also get a few serious responses
When I was young and dumb I abused alcohol badly enough to render myself incapable of remembering what happened. Once for about 8 hours. When I had general anaesthesia, it's all a blank including how much time is missing. A couple of hours, I presume, but I don't know.
I think the difference in duration makes it not really the same sort of thing but hey, this is GD.
Which reminds me of the most important thing you need to find out regarding those missing two months. Check your letterbox to see if anyone poo'd through it. That's how the most important messages are sent.
