Bro's before hoe's!!
This needs quoting again. Not only does making time for your friends, even when in a relationship make you appear less 'clingy', it also means when things do go belly up they'll still be around.
I've made that mistake before, luckily my friends hung around and then helped me pick up the pieces afterwards, but they would have been well within their rights to want nothing to do with me after I shut them out for a year.
Make your own luck, get a new job, start going to the gym, you'll meet people through both. Don't try and force anything, it won't work.
Also, even though this is the interweb please use punctuation. A little part of me dies everytime I have to deal with a post like your opening one.
This man speaks the truth but you've found that out now anyway! I've just got rid of a load of mates from my life as they're all in relationships now so dont bother coming over or doing anything.
They broke up at various times last year and were always wanting me to go out with them and do stuff, would come round and generally we'd have a great time. Then they all found new people and went back to how they used to be and just do relationship things all the time forgetting about their mates and always putting their GFs first.
Next time they break up they can get over it on their own but I'm sure they'll start calling again wanting to go out and do stuff!
Suppose I'm just bitter about being one of the only single people I know and having all my mates only want to do stuff when they break up!

Keep yourself busy, so that you don't think about her and the sick feeling will pass.
I felt like hell Thurs night through to Sunday as I was doing nothing, I then went out and also just generally did all sorts of stuff and actually feel quite good about what's happened and myself.
