So My current rig every 4 Months or so fails to go past POST. Multiple boots & still fails to post.
PC
i7 5830K (stock)
16GB Corsair vengence 2666mhz (was 32GB TeamGroup)
256GB Samsung Pro (Was SM951)
1TB Samsung Evo
ASUS X99 WS-E
GTX1080 (was 2x980s)
Superflower 1300W

What ive found & fixed:
32GB ram Had issues on post screen only few stick detected, Replaced fixed issue for a few months while

SM951 was not being detected by BIOS - replaced with Samsung 950 PRO
Fixed issue for 4 months

Last night my pc failed to post again
Today my Samsung 1TB evo has been detected by the BIOS & windows to have Disk Issues
Windows Repaired

leaving it off for a while (2 minutes) fixes the issues

so going to Buy a new SSD might aswell go NVME? just for games any suggestions?

Wait so does it fall to post at all or does it fail to load Windows? If you're getting into bios it sounds like the latter?

basically it stops at the POST bootup.
generally says something like:

Overclocking failed (if i reboot to quick after a failed post. (not OCing)
It sometimes thinks my 2nd drive has smart errors yet Samsung application says otherwise

orignally it was not detecting ram but that was fixed with Corsair ram change.

only thing i can do is enter UEFI, no drives will load even though Their shown correctly.

Ive done Multiple installs.

I would start pulling parts and booting with the minimum amount of hardware possible. Single drive, one stick of RAM, and one graphics card.

trouble is its fine now, not done anything, its litterally just once every 4 odd months. If you leave power from the MB for a while its fine again :S

Parts ive already changed are:
SSDs
RAM
GFX
