What to do with ~20 PC's?

So in a couple of weeks time, I will be getting roughly 20 PC's and 3 Dell Poweredge SC1425 servers, for free (and no I'm not nicking them

).

The PC's (from the images I have seen) all look to either have Pentiums, Celerons and Core 2 DUO's. I don't know any other specs of any of them. They are all dell machines.

1 of the servers we are chucking in a mates garage to serve as a voice and game server and just to play with (he has cable internet... I have ADSL :L)

My question to you gents, however, is what should I do with the remaining PC's and servers? Should I 'refurbish' them, give them a cheap upgrade and sell them(even though they aren't worth much)? Or is there something more creative I could do with them?

If they are free, sell them on and donate a % to charity?

Supercomputer sounds like fun!

Not sure how plausible it is though...

I'd rather do something creative with them because I cant see each one fetching more than £50 to be honest. What upgrade would add most to the value do you think?

Build a throne of old dell computers and sell it as art, then donate some to charity.

Probably not worth the electricity unfortunately.

I'd check with local schools/charities/old peoples homes etc.

I would give them to a school, but I know all the schools in the area have better computers than these :L

The throne idea sounds cool

I reckon I'll end up cleaning them up, and selling them, giving a percentage to charity

Getting a few screens to build a batcave style wall of monitors though

Not sure. I like the idea of a server though, if I had decent enough broadband I would probably use it as a DayZ server with epoch

Need one of those Core Duo with a SSD for that I guess.

Sell all the celerons. Buy a beast 775 overclocking board, then oc them c2d's to the max and beat all 8 packs scores

That's not a bad shout! Buy some second hand 775 boards that can over clock, and have some fun!
