Hey all,
Anyone that browses the post the kitty thread knows I have a cat and I'm very much a man who likes da pusseh.
Ehem, anyway! My next door neighbour is your typical old woman who feeds anything which walks in her kitchen, so theres usually 2 cats in her garden at any given time. One of them is actually hers, the other is a full on stray and just last week we were talking about how it makes her cats life hell, she can't figure out why it won't go she only feeds it THREE sachets of food a day, cor lifes mysteries eh
Anyway, my cat had a scrap with said stray today (and I'm quite proud to say stood his ground
) which is fine, he's going to get into scraps with other cats all the time, it's an animal thing, but where I'd like to, if possible, do something about said stray...
She has rung the RSPCA and a few other places to see if anyone will come and take this cat, unfortunately where it resides in her back garden they can't do anything about the bloody thing as it's not breaking any laws in being there and as far as they are concerned has a home where he's being fed etc.
I've told my neighbour to simply stop feeding it, it's a stray, it'll soon bugger off when he knows he isn't going to get anymore food from there, but she, in her own words said "but I can't stand to hear them cry" - urgh...
So, is there anyone we can call to come and take said stray away? we've tried the CPL but they've said the same as the RSCPA.
Cheers for any helpful info
Obviously as a last result theres killing it with fire
