Well, I have an Intel Mac sitting in a box waiting to do 'stuff', but I need 'stuff' to do. ;)

Checked F@H, and the only option there still seems to be 'use Rosetta', which sucks, so I won't be doing that. So, more options needed, otherwise it stays where it is - in it's box. You have been warned. :)

You could alternatively just send it my way - I'll make sure it gets put to good use :p
That suggestion goes in the same box as 'use Rosetta'. Nice try though. :p

I tried compiling BOINC once, but gave up. Too many dependencies. Of course, save for the benchmarks, it's the project's applications that count, so I doubt I'd gain much anyway.

Well, it's official. Core Duos rock. :D

When I left it this morning it was churning 'em out at a rate of 1 every 72 minutes. Not bad for 1.66GHz and the standard Mactel client. :D

Heaven knows what it'd do in Wintel mode with a nicely optimised Windows client.

They don't get *that* hot on the case, but they breathe fire out the back.

Problem is then don't shift much air, so hot air tends to build up a bit.

I probably need to find some way to help the airflow, but short of cutting big holes in it (sacrilege for a Mac), I'm at a loss. :(
