Quite a few leg locking clamps have snapped on my Manfrotto 718B tripod which is out of warranty (would cost more than it's worth to buy spare clamps from manfrotto)
I was thinking about trying to remove the bottom 2 leg sections, and leave the top for a compact tripod? However it looks like the 3 way head which is on the tripod isn't replaceable with a standard fit manfrotto head.
Not wanting to spend money on it as I have a 190ProB now, but would rather not just skip the 718B tripod either. (Typical hoarding Scotsman!)
Hmmmm....
