Hello there. I am currently using a gtx780 but I've still got my pny gtx 660 xlr8 that's just collecting dust. I've been trying to sell it for the past couple of months without any luck (even with a low price).
So I was wondering if there was a way I could use it in my system. I'm aware of the possibility of having a dedicated physx card but I don't play many games that support it.

Would it be useful for anything else?
Thanks

I am in a similar situation with two 5870's left after upgrading to a 7990 but think I will probably end up keeping them just in case the 7990 breaks or maybe build a PC for a nephew and put them in there.

I normally like to keep an old GPU around as a back up. As you said you could use it as a dedicated physics card.

I've still got an old 650 ti as spare just in case. And I don't have access to the MM yet so even though my ad has been on gumtree for the past two months, I haven't had any interest.
The only game I've got that uses physics is batman arkham origins and I really don't like it so don't play it.
I might upgrade most of my rig in about 6months so if I've still got it then I might just use the spare parts to build some sort of htpc

Id say keep it as a back up- always good for trying to trouble shooting...or re purpose it in a new mahcine for sone.usage

Thanks for the advice. As I said above, I've got a 650ti just in case.
It doesn't take much room I guess so I'll just keep it for now (or sell it to my brother when he finally decides to ditch his laptop for a proper pc)
