I seem to be unable to sell my old CRT monitor, along with numerous people I know, even when the sale prices are £10 for [what was] a top of the range version!

I don't really want take it to the dump/recycle yard though. Anyone know of any other options? Any charities accepting them?

If you have room you could always use it as a second monitor.

I've had a dual monitor setup for quite some time now and I'm on the verge of adding a third monitor to the setup (will be posting about that in a minute!). The more monitors you have, the more your productivity increases. Its a proven fact!

I also find that CRT's are great for forcing resolutions, not that there's any particular use in doing that, its fun when you're bored to see what res's your gfx card can put out stable.

Yeah, I was just thinking that. Post the make/model and where you are and someone here may take it off your hands.
