I have a couple of old 15" beige CRTs lying around spare and have had for several years. Anyone else had to dispose of old CRTs? I doubt it's worth selling them for the money I'd get but if anyone thinks otherwise let me know. Would prefer not to be destructive with them.

Thanks, null :)

My old CRT 17" broke. I planned to repair it, but it was awkward and whilst asking about it, someone said I couldn't give it away even if it worked. I took all parts of value from it (probably about £5 worth total :p :rolleyes: ) and it was scrapped at the local tip (they usually have a bit to put electrical things). So, that is about the only option, except possibly donating them to a school or those charities that collect "brik-a-brak" (don't think they take electronics tho iirc) or something if they want them :confused:

My little hoard, those inductors are very useful actually;
