What to do with old hardware?

So it appears i've acquired myself an old computer, came out of my grandparents place. She's a core 2 duo (dunno what spec but i doubt high end), i think btx form factor (that is its like a mirror image of a normal rig), integrated graphics and a floppy drive!

So i'm wondering what it could be used for, perhaps a minecraft server for the lads? I doubt it's got the horsepower for anything else, maybe a NAS?

inspire me!

Would need to be really retro lol, it wasnt that powerful for its time, plus there's not really any old games i'd play that would need that kind of back support.

I used to use old systems to teach my kids how to take a pc apart and put it back together again. Other than that or media server I'm not sure what to suggest.

Sacrilege. Core 2 is positively space-age!

You've missed out on a whole load of games if you never even had a Pentium 2

even Fallout 3 came out when Pentium 4 was on top.

fallout 3 runs on modern hardware though, and is about as retro as i go
