So i've been trying to find a use for my old PC and can't decide what to do.
Here are the system specs:

Hardware Specification:
CPU: 1.5GHz VIA C7®-D processor
Chipset: VIA VX800 Unified Digital Media IGP chipset
Memory: 1 x DDR2 SO-DIMM (2 GB)
Hard Disk: Nothing yet but supports 2 x 3.5” SATA-II
Bootable SSD: 1 x CompactFlash (8gb)
USB Ports: 3 x USB 2.0 ports (1 on the front panel)
LAN Port: 1 x Gigabit RJ-45 LAN port with LED
Audio Built-in high definition audio controller
1 x MIC/Line-in
1 x Line-out
Display Port: 1 x VGA port
System Cooler 8 cm low-noise ball-bearing fan
Dimensions 5.3” x 4.5” x 10.2” / 135 x 115 x 259 mm (W x H x D)

Any ideas?

I would say build media pc but this cpu is really old and phones now days have better ones so I dont know. Maybe you can build a machine for your self or kids (if you have) to play old school games. mario bros etc. It doesnt have to be this size maybe smaller. this is just a idea .

Chuck a couple of decently sized HDDs in it and you could have a cheap NAS/file server? Could also use it for torrenting without needing a thirstier PC left on.

Yeah i guess it would run cooler and lower power than my gaming / editing rig.
Thankfully i have no kids Maybe i'll build a new case for it (pretty small components) and turn it into something funky.... NAS / FTP host / Carputer?

Before I built a dedicated box I used an old micro as a NAS for a while then used it to try different techniques for jazzing up the case. With the ability to VM most stuff I don't bother with other physical machines much for things like FTP etc.
