Hi All,

Been in the loft today and found a couple of boxes of my old PC games (the big box style - Diablo, Xwing Tie Fighter, GTA etc etc).

Just wondering whats the best way to potentially get rid of them? Just chuck em in the bin? Charity shop - try em on the old ebay?

I would be suprised if many people were after these as I doubt they run under latest Windows?

Cheers

try em on the old ebay?
I learned the hard way of not to do this...
I lost more money then i made and a load of my time

You get winning bids of like 99p and then out that you got pay for ebays fees, paypal fees, post & packing costs, fuel to post office, etc

I've sold my OLD dvd for 1.99 each including free p&p..

There is a seller on there called jwgmerchandise who sells the cheapest mailing stuff money can buy..

But a pack of 50 mailing bags to fit dvds for like £3.

But large letter 2nd class stamps for however much they cost..

ANd list your games for £3 each with free p&p..

All you have to do is enter the barcode these days, and ebay will add all the game details onto the auction listing.

Good way to clear stuff out.

Selling games as a package doesn't yield great returns I've found. most people probably just want one game from the package and don't bid much.

You can try gumtree. But gumtree is a bit of a mixed bag.

Selling them on amazon is pretty good as well.

Other websites have swapschemes. I use a book swapping website www.readitswapit.co.uk, tere are tonnes of other swapping sites and some of them do it for games too (not sure which)..

You put your list up, and then go through other people collections and pick one you like, hopefully they find a game they like from your collection and you can swap.

Many people love retro gaming - and that includes collecting and playing older PC games too, sometimes keeping older PC's around just for the job.

They will sell, just not for much!
