what to do with sky router after you've left sky?

So I'm no longer with sky but I got their adsl router here still

I don't want to bin it actually want to use it in 2nd home out of country (india) for wireless internet
but as sky have got their inbuilt settings etc I don't know if I can.

is it worthless? or is there some sort of image I can flash/kick it with that will allow me to still use it?

any thoughts welcome thanks

Depends what model it is. It should say on the underside of the unit.

DG834v4 and DG834GT are very good on LLU ISP's. v1-v3 do work but won't attain such a high sync rate. All can be unlocked from Sky... Google it.

BTW do you think the ISP's in India are LLU?
