I own two Taito Space Invaders, these are the original Space Invaders produced in 1978, they are identical to the right picture on this wiki page.

Some history on them:
The machines came from Blackpool Pleasure Beach, they were originally opposite the Alice in Wonderland Ride, and sat between the public toilets with 'Space Invaders' written in metallic blue writing.
20 years ago the machines were out of fashion, and someone in my family knew someone who operated one of the arcades at the Pleasure Beach. Because the machines were old (no one played them), despite being fully working they were due to be smashed up. I was offered them and they were transported from Blackpool to Crewe. The machines have been stored dry (cold garage), however they have not been switched on for over 10 years.
This is where I need some advice, I'm reluctant to just switch them on in case I do some damage. I was going to pull everything apart, and clean with electro-lube. Also check for leaking capacitors, My biggest concern was if the PSU was still giving out correct current.
Any electronics people have any advice?
