what to do with these 2 conifers

Any garden experts about

This pair of potted ornamental conifers were looking good however the left ones leader got snapped off by a passerby (council estate up road) then unfortunate I was ill for a few months earlier in the year and they did not get watered.

Would like to cut them level back to the green growth....try and shape them maybe use some garden wire but not sure how they would fair. Advice appreciated

If I had those I would try cloud pruning. Wanted to try it for ages.

Remove the dead bits, then reshape.

Replace with new ones they are too big for the pots already!
