My PC setup is

Cpu - (939) AMD64 [email protected]
Mobo - Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe
DDR - 2x1Gb Corsair value 3200
GC - XFX Geforce 6800GS XXX

Now if I went Intel Core 2 DUO rout I'm going to be spend near to £500 for Mobo, memory and a E6300 and that's one hell of an expensive upgrade or I could get a OcUK MSI GeForce 7900 GTO SILENT 512MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI for £170 which I think may improve my games for a little longer and save my pennys for AMDs next outing with the AM3 cpus. Oh what to do?

I was thinking of getting the graphics card as this will make the biggest diffrence to games and it won't completly wipe me out.

 Hi,

Yep if I was you I would just up-grade the graphics card and wait until all the prices drop on other up-grades. :) as im sure that come the new year things will have moved on and you will be able to up-grade around half the cost of that if you were to buy now

As I have done so many times in the past :( and bought gear when it first comes out ( just too keep up with the Jones's ) and then seen that the prices have gone way down in a few months time

You may not be running the most upto date rig, but as long as you can do what you want it to do, who cares and you can always sell of your old gear when the time is right when you do up-grade. ;)

 Hi,

Its always hard to say what you would get for it, but there is always a good chance of getting that much as there is always people who will buy old pc parts to up-grade old pc's.

I beleave that OcUk have a sellers & buyers market, give it a go and see. ;)
