I won online a Sapphire 4850 512 meg card. One of the new copper fan type affairs. Is it worth taking out my 9800 GTX+ and fitting this in instead? or is it just worth leaving things as they are and flogging the 4850?

Suggestions welcomed?

They are both at parity in terms of performace, so it's just swings and roundabouts.

If you happy with your 9800GTX+ performance I'd just sell the HD 4850 (or vice versa).

Sell the 4850 imo... unless you happen to like hideous levels of FSAA the GTX+ gives more consistant performance.

Sell it as boxed and unused, should get more for it. Not much if any of an improvement from what you have.

I might sell them both and get a 260 216 version. Is it worth doing that or am I just wasting money for the sake of it?

Sell it. Pocket the cash, add a little to it later and get a big upgrade.

I game at 1680x1050. My core 2 E5200 runs at 3.44 gig. Crysis Warhead runs very smooth on Enthusiast settings. Would the 260 GTX be worth while or not?
