Hi Guys,

I have a EVGA gtx 570 2.5gb but its bloody hot under load 85c ! It appears to vent into my case which is a well cooled antec 900 thus pushing all temps up cheapest way to cool everything down ?? Shall I just buy another comparable card ?, can't really take side panel off as I have cats ;-)

Thanks for any help offered

Trev

If your Happy with the GTX 570's performance i don't see why you should get a new card.

you have cats? i love cats :) but there fure gets everywhere, have you taken your rig apart and cleaned it out properly?

Take the fans off the GPU, make sure the heatsink vents are not clogged, just strip everything down and give it all a good clean, see if that helps.

If not try and get a more powerful intake and exhausts case fans.

It should not run at those temps, it sounds like it needs some TLC :)

Hi,

Rig gets taken apart regularly and cleaned properly, did the 570 though thisd morning removed heatsink etc and now idle at 36 load 72 so fair improvement.

Thanks
