What to do?

My PC which I’ve had for some time now is finally surplus to requirements. My 2 sons who have made some use of it now have their own rigs so my old faithful is now sitting doing nothing. It’s a shame as it’s served me well for years but I just don’t know what to do with it?

Is there any point upgrading for some casual gaming? Are their any decent options for this?

if I was to move it on, is there a market for this?

I guess I’m looking for some inspo really on keeping it alive, not quite sure why I have this weird attachment to an electronic system

Spec is

Motherboard Gigabyte System Model: P67A-UD3
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.6GHz
Memory: Corsair CML16GX3M2A1600C10B Vengeance LP Blue 16 GB (2x8 GB) DDR3 1600MHz
Card name: Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 1050 WF2 GDDR5 OC 2GB PCI-E
SSD: INTEL SSDSC2CT120A3 ATA Device 120gb (OS)
HDD: WDC WD20EZRX-00DC0B0 ATA Device 2TB
HDD: SAMSUNG HD103SJ ATA Device 1TB

Thanks if anyone has any advice, appreciated.

The old quad cores can play any game released during the Intel stagnation era pretty well (i.e. 1st gen Core to 1st gen Ryzen) and with a newer graphics card (like RX 6600/RTX 2060) it could handle a lot of newer games too, though a CPU with 8 threads would help.
