Was looking at building a budget gaming pc for my youngest daughter but ram is a bit pricey. Bought two of these kit this time last year from OC

Now they’re £399 and out of stock on OC website wow, any suggestions or just wait it out?

ram prices are only going to increase for the forseeable future
if you're desperate then either stump up the cash or buy it from the used market
or wait out a couple years or so

SSDs are going up somewhat, but not as bad as RAM. Graphics cards are also going up.

AI server farms need lots of ram and SSD space. So these will/have increased in price.
GPUs also need vram, so this will increase in price shortly.

Tl;dr prepared to be bent over and screwed in 2026
