What to get with a budget of £450!

Hey guys, I am looking for a new decent camera. I would like to take generally high quality pictures and possibly edit them, as well as using the camera as a way of capturing what i get up to during the summer time (travelling, destination tba) I was thinking something along the lines of a panasonic lumix dmc-g3, however I am not too worried on the size of the product so I am not put off by a "bulky" slr just I would prefer a point and shoot with excellant end results!

I have recently been looking for a compact within this price bracket and I am leaning towards the Fujifilm X10 might be worth a look for your needs.

The X10 is definitely worth a look. I've had one for a month or two and there's a quality to the results that's really lovely.

Of course, there's also a very nice Olympus XZ-1 in the members' market......

Ok thanks I shall look into the fuji! and I dont mind getting one new or second hand but would probably get a brand new product as I dont know what things I am looking out for when buying a second hand moderately expensive camera!
