What to go for...

Hi

Want to upgrade my monitor I currently have a DGM OCuK 24" the one with the awesome panel. However I want to get another 24 or bigger to replace this with but I need it to be able to take a ps3 as well. So dvi and hdmi and still be 1920x1200.

Budget £250ish desired as max, any suggestions. Thanks.

If it doesn't *have* to be brand new, perhaps a Dell 2407 ? They can be found for this sort of money 2nd hand....?

Dell Ultrasharp 2408WFP Actually really fancy one of these now and with a £300 budget should find a used one hopefully but If I cant what else should I be looking at.

Fair enough, your budget has sneaked into 2408 territory

Me, I am planning to jump up to 24" from my 2005FPW and plan on grabbing a HP L2475w asap

(was pretty sure I would look for a 2408, but love IPS panels, as per my current panel)

I have the T240, which fortunately has an HDMI input. I havn't tried it yet on my PS3, but will do in the next day or so. Will post up my reports in here for you if your still looking around. As of yet no ghosting or issues with gaming/films on pc at 1900x1200 through DVI-D connection.

I've got the Acer P243W 24" and it's absolutely awesome! Not a single dead pixel and has HDMI and DVI (unfortunately no built in speakers). Seems pretty well built and colours don't look too bad either. It's definately better than my old Samsung SyncMaster CRT. Last year I got it for £150 but I see the price has gone up quite a lot since then.

Oh and I had it hooked up to my PS3 when I used to have one. Best quality.
