What to ground to when swapping psu?

As title guys. I have a mat and a wrist band (not sure how to use it) What do I need to connect to what when working on my pc?

Do I connect the mat to the neutral socket in the wall and then my strap to the mat or does the strap need to go to the case?

Any advise would be great as I'm swapping my psu out tomorrow.

I will be unplugging the cables from other components so I don't want to damage those.
