Hi Guys
So my AC87U keep freezing on me. The router just locks up and I cannot access it via the i.p or anything. Devices can connect to the wifi but actually have no connection when this happens. If i try to access anything from outside in again no connection. I am using a HG612 Modem on my FTTC connection so i only need a (router/wifi) function however i have a few port forwards set and also need a decent Wifi range for devices not so close. I dont use many of the fancy functions tbh but do want a good strong wifi and reliability. this is my second AC87U as my first one died in warranty due to a known ram chip failure. This one i have no idea its about 5 years old so no warranty.
I have no idea what people are using now so any suggestions would be great. Majority of the house is all on a 24 port network switch its only mobile devices that use the wifi and ring door bell/smart heating etc.
