What to set memory speed to?

Hi

I have a asus P5qpro turbo and a e8500 cpu have overclocked cpu to 3.8 (400 x 9.5). Currently i have the memory at 1:1 but my memory is 1066 corsair balistix mem. Is it best to select this speed in the bios or leave at 1:1. I noticed on CPUz the SPD settings but when I looked in the bios I was unclear as to what setting was what. Any help would be much appreciated

The mem I have is Crucial Ballistix PC2-8500 DDR2 1066MHz RAM

There seems to be a difference of opinion that running in sync i,e 1:1 or setting ram to max FSB with multiplier in my case 1066 is the best option. My motherboard has the ability to just select the max speed of the ram but some say a ratio of 1:1 is best? Interested in thoughts about this
