I can't decide! I got some money for my birthday and am determined to put it into camera gear. I've been so slack of late I think I need some impetus to get me shooting again. I don't want to spend more than £100 and think my choice is to get either a Yongnuo flash, or a battery grip together with maybe one of those nice sling over-the-shoulder straps. The thinking behind those last two items being that it might make it easier to simply walk out of the house with my camera and nifty fifty and not worry about taking my bag for extra batteries, lenses and all the rubbish that you end up taking that you don't ever need! I've got the naff standard Nikon strap and carrying the camera on that for any period of time is just unbearable, hence I always end up taking some sort of bag. Then if I'm walking round London the camera normally ends up staying in the bag :p

As for the flash, the argument is quite simply that I don't have one :p I do like flash photography when done well, and it might open me up a bit more to experimentation and not just shooting on a sunny day. Off-camera flash stuff might be fun too.

This is all to compliment the following (rather standard) gear:
- Nikon D50
- 18-55 kit lens
- 50mm f1.8
- Sigma 70-300 apo

Thoughts? I've also got a cuople of weddings coming up which is making me lean towards the flash...
