Basically I want something Gadgety

I am thinking of an iPod as this would come in handy for Train rides to and from Uni everyday and also for my free time

I have all the bits that I want for my PC like Graphics Card etc

What would you spend £200 on, and is an iPod a good idea to you?

ipods are carp, get an iriver :p

Seriously though, I like both, but if I got an ipod, I'd run ipodlinux and rockbox on it :)

Make me jealous, go buy a black 80gb ipod 6gen :D

Down with PSP and up with Nintendo DS Lite.

Seriously, DSL owns. It was my first handheld console since the b/w gameboy days. I played with a PSP and yes the graphics were a little fancy but the DSL is in its own league. Years of fun to be had, you won't regret it! :D

psp with 2gig pro duo and gta liberty cities and have a google on downgrading, ultimate gadget. Its great only prob with them is they could be a bit smaller, if your want to use it as a mp3 player.

Was unaware there were mobiles that could hold more than a few albums of music at high quality, with good sound quality and usability.

I am aware of mobile phones with 4GB HDD's built in, and mobiles that can take a 4GB SD card, which is probably enough, but I'd always want to listen to music that I've not put on my card/player!

I've used an SE K800i as a music player with the optional walkman headphones, and it sounds pretty good, with navigation by artist/album etc, but 1GB isn't enough for me :p

PSP is like a mini PS2 with the same condenced version of the same games.

DS Lite is a much better handheld console, better still, save it for the Wii.

Thanks Raymond Lin

I will probably get the WII in time, but ideally I want something handheld which I could use to stop my boredom of being on the Train twice everyday, and if I miss the Train, I could use the product again to releive my boredom!

I know nothing about music players really, I bought an ipod mini 18 months ago just purely because I wanted an mp3 player and I thought with the famous brand I would get good quality... but now, 18 months on, the battery lasts about 10-15 minutes, and its completely enclosed so its not like I can easily replace it, I would need to send it away, and as its not under warranty god only knows how much that will cost :(
