What to spend £3k on..?

Ok, I have now £3300 in my bank account.. Ive spent around £700 in the last 10 days and I have hardly anything to show for it, so this wont do at all.. Now im going to singapore and thailand for aruond about 2 months so will spend probably 1500 if im good.. Might buy a laptop.. Anyways, how shall i invest this money. Preferably into more money? cheers

just save it, just cause you have got the money doesnt mean you have got to spend it, see how much you have left from traveling, then set your mind on something you really want

If I had that kind of money right now it would be finding its way into our ISA. Saving for a house deposit so not that interesting soz.

you cant really make money from spending it unless your one of very few who actually dont lose out on stocks.

£1.5k in Singapore & Thailand in 2 months? Might as well spend the rest of it to enjoy your stay in both countries a bit more. You could spend £1.5k in Singapore in a week easily.

Invest in an indian share fund, due to redundancy in 2008 I had to remove my funds, since then it has gone up 3 fold

Nothing, IMO. The time it takes you to walk into a bank, set one up and transfer the money you could've washed a couple of cars and made as much money.

RBS shares if you can risk it being a long haul (though they've almost doubled in the past few months).

I had 3k a few years ago, wasted it and regret it. If you must buy a laptop spend £300 max and buy a netbook you can take on your travels.

Put it in an ISA like these guys say.

ISA interest rates are below the inflation rate.. might be beter to invest in something (fun) none monetary based which doesn't suffer too much from depreciation.
