What to switch to?

I will be switching to the Corsair 350D at the end of the month. Since I'm changing to an mATX case, I'll need to change to an mATX motherboard as well. That's when it dawned on me - I might as well upgrade my CPU as well. I have no upgrade path with the FM2+ socket anymore which means I'll need to either move to the FX platform from AMD or switch over to Intel. I want to overclock my CPU and that means paying a lot of money if I want to go Intel. The Pentium G3258 is an option, but in a years time, Haswell might be gone and I'll be stuck without an upgrade path since I'd likely upgrade to the i5 4690k. I'm kind of in a rush as I'm moving around and the Corsair 350D case is a MUST to help save space. I don't have a lot of time to wait around for Intel to release cheaper CPU's that can be overclocked (which I doubt they will). Could someone please advise me of a motherboard and CPU combo which would suit my needs? Sticking with what I've got isn't really an option as I need an mATX board for my new case and the CPU is good, but I do run into times where it can't handle as much multi-tasking.

I need something good for;

- Gaming (mid to high-end)
- Web browing
- Email
- Overclocking (I'm still learning about it)

My current system specs are;

AMD Athlon X4 860K Black Edition @ 3.7GHz
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Gigabyte F2A88X-D3H
Corsair Vengeance 12GB @ 1600MHz
MSI Radeon R7 260X 2GB OC Edition
500GB Seagate Pipeline
Cooler Master GM 650w

What about a Gigabyte Z97M-DS3H motherboard with an Intel Pentium K Anniversary G3258? I could keep the board for the foreseeable future and simply upgrade the CPU to an i5 4690k in three or four months. Will that board handle an i5 OC?
