What to upgrade first?

Will be getting a nice bounty bonus of around £500 on the first of august.

Looking at the spec in my sig what would be the best thing to upgrade first? I looking to spend around £200.

a new graphics card would probably be the biggest boost but with new cards due september/october would go for a Q9550 CPU till they are released.

If you game lots: Graphics card
If you don't: Processor

If it isn't overclocked yet, spend a quarter of that on a very good cpu cooler
If you're running an unwise power supply that should probably be replaced

4850 worth the purchase? I'd rather spend £200 on one component then when I get my next bonus get my next component and so on.

Heard a lot about the 4870, could also get a 285 for £200 aswell.

The 4850 would be better than your current card but not by much, a 4870 or 4890 would be a much bigger leap.

What I thought, had this 8800GT since they first launched and it was an excellent card. Wanting something to last me at least a year or so.

How are the Ati cards? Been a while since I had one. Last one I had was an
X1950Pro 512mb.

Get your self a 4890, Cheapest one is only £136 aswell. The 285 is not worth the extra tbh.

Graphics and the CPU for that budget, possibly the PSU if needed too.

I was thinking that too haha. Got to of spent at least double that getting those 2! Should be good though, enjoy the beautiful new games you'll be seeing!
